2.6.14 അഗ്നിയെ മഥിക്കയും വായുവിനെ നിയമിക്കയും, സോമരസം വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതെവിടെയോ അവിടെ സിദ്ധി ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു. മാറിടവും, കഴുത്തും, ശിരസ്സും ചൊവ്വേ ആക്കി നിവർന്നിരുന്നുകൊണ്ടു് യോഗി ഭയങ്കരമായ സംസാരസമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ തിരമാലകളെ ബ്രഹ്മമാകുന്ന തോണിയേറി കടന്നുപോകുന്നു.

യഥാക്രമം അഭ്യാസം ചെയ്ത ആൾക്കു് പ്രാണൻ വശമാകുന്നു. പ്രാണന്റെ ഗതിവേഗം ശാന്തമാകുമ്പോൾ ശ്വാസം മൂക്കിന്റെ ദ്വാരങ്ങളിൽ കൂടി തന്നെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു. നിരന്തരാഭ്യാസിയായ യോഗിക്കു മനസ്സു്, സമർത്ഥനായ സാരഥിക്കു് പിണങ്ങുന്ന കുതിരകൾ എന്നപോലെ വശമാകുന്നു.

ഗിരി, ഗുഹ മുതലായവ പോലുള്ള വിജനപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ, ചരലോ മണലോ ഇല്ലാത്ത നിരപ്പുള്ള തറകളിൽ, അരുവികടെളുയോ മനുഷ്യരുടെയോ ഉപദ്രവകരങ്ങളായ ശബ്ദങ്ങൾ യാതൊന്നും ഇല്ലാത്തതും മനസ്സിനും ദൃഷ്ടിക്കും ഇണങ്ങിയതുമായ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ ഇരുന്നുവേണം യോഗം അഭ്യസിപ്പാൻ.

ഹിമം, ധൂമം, സൂര്യൻ, വായു, അഗ്നി, മിന്നാമിനുങ്ങ്, മിന്നൽ, സ്ഫടികം ചന്ദ്രൻ ഇവ പോലുള്ള രൂപങ്ങൾ പ്രത്യക്ഷമാകുന്നതായി തോന്നുമ്പോൾ ക്രമേണ യോഗത്തിൽ ബ്രഹ്മസാക്ഷാൽകാരം ഉണ്ടായിത്തുടങ്ങുകയാകുന്നു.

ഭൂമി, ജലം, പ്രകാശം, അഗ്നി, ആകാശം ഇവയുടെ യൗഗിക പ്രത്യക്ഷം ഉണ്ടായിത്തുടങ്ങുമ്പോൾ യോഗസിദ്ധി ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു. യോഗാഗ്നിയാൽ നിർമ്മിതമായ ശരീരമുള്ളവനു രോഗമോ, വാർദ്ധക്യമോ, മരണമോ യാതൊന്നും ഉണ്ടാകുന്നില്ല.

അംഗലാഘവം, ആരോഗ്യം, തൊലിക്കു മാർദ്ദവം പ്രസന്നമായ മുഖകാന്തി, മധുരമായ സ്വരം, ശരീരത്തിൽ മനോനുകൂലമായ ഒരു ഗന്ധം ഇവയാണു് യോഗസിദ്ധിയുടെ ആദ്യ ലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ

പൊന്നോ വെള്ളിയോ ആദ്യം മണ്ണും മറ്റും കൊണ്ടു് മറഞ്ഞിരുന്നിട്ടു് ഒടുവിൽ ഉലയിൽ വെച്ചൂതി കഴുകി എടുക്കുമ്പോൾ പ്രകാശത്തോടുകൂടി തിളങ്ങുന്നു; അതുപോലെ ശരീരബദ്ധനായ ജീവൻ ആത്മാവിന്റെ സത്യാവസ്ഥയെ ഏകകമായി കണ്ടിട്ടു് കൃതാർത്ഥനായും, ദുഃഖരഹിതനായും ഭവിക്കുന്നു.
